EDU555 CURRICULUM AND INSRUCTION LEVEL OF EDUCATION SYSTEM Today's topic is  we learn about the level of education system which is from pre-school to primary school, secondary school, tertiary school and post graduate. then, madam also tell us a little bit about Sekolah Wawasan  which means a combination of variety types of school but using the same facilities and in the same area. For example, SJK(C), SJK(T) and SK shared their canteen, lab, field and many more.  The combination of these various schools is aimed at cultivating the spirit of unity among the people of Malaysia irrespective of race, culture and religion.  Next is about cluster school which they used merit system in academic and also in co-curriculum. this school are more demand and more financially provided from government compared to normal school.

EDU555 CURRICULUM AND INSTRUCTION ASSESSMENT VS EVALUATION This week, we are learn about Curriculum Evaluation which is the difference between assessment and evaluation. assessment is a process of gathering data. Data provide a picture of a range of activities using different forms of assessment. It can be test, questionnaire, quiz, presentation, micro teaching, article review or group projects. Meanwhile, evaluation is one's judgement to determine the overall value of an outcome based on the assessment data.  From the evaluation we design ways to improve the recognized weakness, gap or deficiencies. Aim of  Curriculum evaluation is to examine the impact of implemented curriculum on student achievement so that the official curriculum can be revised if necessary and to review teaching and learning process in the classroom. EDU555 CURRICULUM AND INSTRUCTION CURRICULUM IN MALAYSIAN SCHOOL Curriculum is the combination of instructional practices, learning experiences, and students' performance assessment that are designed to bring out and evaluate the target learning outcomes of a particular course. It can be saying hat curriculum is plan of study and heart of school. Without curriculum every education system in school will not function well. The current Malaysian school education system is based on KSSR and KSSM. KSSR or Kurikulum Standard Sekolah Rendah is a plan of study for a period of six years. Meanwhile, KSSM or Kurikulum Standard Sekolah Menengah is a plan of study for Malaysian Secondary school for a period of five years. There are 4 types of Curriculum in Malaysian schools which is: 1.
